                              Health Program

NCS has been giving health services for more than thirty years in its health facilities by committed religious sisters, priests and other employed staff. NCS has a total of 17 health institutions (1 health center, 1 primary eye care unit, 9 clinics and 6 health posts). NCS integrated health program works on:

1.     Preventive care:

o    Maternal health care including natural family planning, antenatal care, immunization, delivery services and postnatal care.

o    Child health care including immunization, growth monitoring and nutrition care.

o    Environmental sanitation and personal hygiene

o    Goiter prevention by providing Iodized salt

o    Prevention and control of elephantiasis/Podoconiosis, malaria

o    CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation)

2.     Curative care:

o    Curative health care services for the community in clinics.

o    Patient referral service

3.     Emergency Health Interventions

o    MHNT team

o    Nutrition interventions
