EDUCATION PROGRAM

 Executive summary 

The education program constitutes the largest intervention of the Dioceses. Since the commencement of the program, ten primary schools and one secondary school has been established in different school operations. The education program also constitutes more than thirty five kindergartens operating in different socio-economic and socio-cultural environ Most of the schools involving 70% are rural schools operating where many of children do not get a chance to go to school. The schools are operated in different socio-economic and cultural set ups often in contagious geographical areas and far apart in remote rural community areas. Most of the schools are the earliest intervention ahead of the modern government education structure. The students will be impacted with human development improving their learning, basic language skills, comprehension, analysis and enhance their understanding of their socio-economic set up and part of the social development of their community. Catholic schools have an established emotional relations and integrations with the community duet to their historical inherence, cultural connections, value formations and welfare service practically in adhering to the practical issues and approaches of the poor inside the school and other complementary and supplementary socio-pastoral works and development intervention works.
